Obituary of Diane Knight

Diane passed away peacefully with her beloved family by her side on July 12, 2024 at 80 years of age.

She will be deeply missed by her husband of 58 years Michael Knight, her beloved children David (Karen) Knight and Lisa (Jason) Telasco and her grandchildren William, Samantha and Brandon.

She will also be missed by her brother Alan and brother in law Nigel as well as many nieces, nephews and close friends.

Diane will be reunited with her parents Agnes and Norman.

Diane was born in Coventry England and later moved to Windsor, Ontario where she stayed for the rest of her life. Diane worked at A.L.P.H.A and Para-Med as a personal support worker helping others in need. She always put others first and her clients treated her like family. She enjoyed looking out her front window in Forest Glade watching the world go by. She also enjoyed trips to the casino, spending time with her kids and grandkids and listening to Elvis in her spare time.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the care team at The Villages at St. Clair, the doctors, nurses and the staff were so caring and attentive.

We are truly thankful.

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel South, 3048 Dougall Avenue, Windsor (519-253-7236) on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 from 4-6PM with a service to follow. 

All friends, family and care staff are invited to gather to share stories of Diane.

If so desired, memorial donations in her memory can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
